    The Dangerous mentally ill
    Describe the challenge you want to address:
    Since Mayor Deblasio opened up the mental institutions & closed down Creedmoor, we've had deaths caused by some of the mentally ill that don't belong in jail or prison. Because NYC doesn't have enough services to deal with giving them proper housing, medical care & medication supervision, etc., there have been unnecessary deaths because almost all these people who are a danger to people's lives because these mentally ill don't have the capacity to control their violent thoughts.
    What is the solution to the challenge?
    Open back up some modern permanent psychiatric institutions for the dangerously mentally ill. That will hopefully decrease the amount of deaths of people pushed into subways, stabbed by psychotic people who refuse or not provided with enough social services to make sure they take their medications, etc.
