- Describe the challenge you want to address:
- Dogs urinating up against residential and commercial buildings, churches, synagogues, mosques and on the sidewalks.,
- What is the solution to the challenge?
- To make awareness of the “CURB YOUR DOG” law and begin enforcing it. People seem to forget that this law not only pertains to picking up feces, but to bring your dog to the curb to urinate as well in order for the street sweeper to wash it away thereby allowing cleanliness to return to the city. I can’t imagine what a tourist must think of walking down the street and then having to stop to allow a dog to urinate in front of them on the sidewalk and watch as it as it makes a puddle and slithers down the sidewalk. Gross. Not to mention the smell and the elderly and children walking through it. Citizen's shoes then go home and bring it with them. Just have the law brought back to what it was initially intended to be. I understand when Kosch brought in the pooper scooper law into effect that over the years it is the only part citizens remember. Especially, our youngest ones with digs. We just have to make them aware of the entire law. Poop and Pee! Thank you. If they could also pick up after themselves instead of using the sidewalk as their garbage cans. People seem to have lost what is good for themselves and others. Maybe we should have a Cleanliness Mont
