[According to NICHE, reporting on violent crimes, there were 1,435.7 assaults in Highbridge, compared to 282.7 nationally. There were 6.3 murders compared to 6.1 nationally. Also, there were 210 robberies compared to 135.5 nationally per 100,000 residents. These statistics are based on 100,000 calculated annually. ]
What idea do you have to address the problem?
[Communities should have weekly meetings to develop strategies to address the violence in their neighborhood and devise solutions.]
Who would that help?
[This endeavor will help the residents feel empowered and have buy-in on resolving the violence where they live.]
What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?
