People are speeding and driving recklessly through cameras because they can pay the small fine on their own time. People get seriously hurt.</p><p><strong>What idea do you have to address the problem?</strong></p><p>Staten Island should put physical enforcements for speeds. Speed bumps and stop signs near schools and in places with high foot traffic is a must. We do not need a huge influx of stop lights, just signs and bumps to prevent drivers from reaching too high over the speed limit.</p><p><strong>Who would that help?</strong></p><p>It is a public safety concern but most importantly elementary school children.</p><p><strong>What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?</strong></p><p>West Brighton, New Brighton</p>"},"title":{"en":"A Real Stop to Speeding"}}
