Every other week you hear someone being harassed on the buses or in the train.</p><p><strong>Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community? </strong></p><p>it is important because public transportation brings money to live in the city. So when people don't feel safe, the city wouldn't generate money from the MTA. People also lose their lives.</p><p><strong>What idea do you have to address the problem?</strong></p><p>For the subway, many people get harassed or pushed from the platforms. The city should build a barrier to save people from getting killed and create safety plans. For buses, at least one should be patrolling them, or surveillance should be improved.</p><p><strong>Who would that help?</strong></p><p>This would help low-income residents and anyone in NYC who doesn't want to drive and doesn't have enough money for gas.</p><p><strong>What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?</strong></p><p>The Bronx</p>"},"title":{"en":"Transportation Reform "}}
