    What problem would you like to solve?

    Power grids in unheard communities.

    Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

    It is important because all homes are reliant to electricity, and those home in communities not reflected in the news/media face more trouble. Lack of attention to electric issues, cabling, pot holes lead to problems that can trickle to residents in the community. Last summer Woodhaven Queens had two blackouts and have had piping issues causing smoking/fire in sewer holes. Those who suffer from asthma, or those who are disabled live in many communities and they need to be kept in mind. When having to evacuate, or the environment that is the streets of our homes need to be kept in tacked. We need appropriate attention to hazardous issues in unheard communities.

    What idea do you have to address the problem?

    Recognizing that neighborhoods need attention. Then list those who need urgent attention. Create visits from state programs/orgs that can help clean, fix or improve issues in neighborhood.
