    What problem would you like to solve?

    Seniors in the community are experiencing loss of close pharmacies, banks and other services. They need support from youth to get them where they need to go or to run errands. They are also getting isolated without needed companionship. The same is true for community residents who are differently abled wo now have to travel further for needed resources and errands,

    Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

    It is urgently needed because if loneliness affecting seniors after the pandemic , decrease safety, and their inability to rely on computers and phones to solve problems as the world moves more and more into relying on tech to do things. Also, we are losing proximity to banks and pharmacies which affects differently abled people's access as well.

    What idea do you have to address the problem?

    Have seniors and disable people team up with youth to escort them to appointments, pharmacies and other needed errands. It would provide more human connection and support for seniors and community service opportunities for youth.
