Why is it relevant for the community? </strong></p><p>Many people from the Brighton Beach area have mentioned the deterioration of their neighborhood parks over the years. The parks that have once been full of life and laughter have become glum and dangerous areas in the neighborhoods, becoming hangout spots for gang members and druggies. And with the widespread internet use, especially among kids, it is important for there to be an outdoors area close by for them to go outside to get fresh air and be in nature and around other kids. Not only is it good for their health but also improves social skills among kids. Also, it is known kids have smaller bladders and need to use the bathroom often. However, the bathrooms in the parks, especially in Brighton Beach have been locked and dirty for years. Even when the bathrooms were open, one couldn’t even step inside without being disgusted by how dirty and smelly the bathrooms were. This is not okay and should be fixed.</p><p><strong>What idea do you have to address the problem?</strong></p><p>An idea would be to take a look into the parks in Brighton Beach and see the changes that need to be made to the parks. There are multiple issues that most parks have in the Brighton Beach community so it should be taken care of.</p><p><strong>Who would that help?</strong></p><p>This would help kids, parents, and grandparents who want to take their kids to the park and let them exercise and get fresh air especially in the summer.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?</strong></p><p>This would benefit many boroughs, especially Brooklyn and the Brighton Beach parks.</p>"},"title":{"en":"Cleaner and Safer Neighborhood Parks"}}
