    What problem would you like to solve?

    Stifled expression and lack of community skills that increase crime on the street.

    Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

    Because the youth of Staten island youth are troublesome if not heard by those in power to make change. Ever since 5050 skate park was built a variety of expression through clothes, events, sexuality celebration have become more of a practice among communities and if we could start something like that on Staten Island I think it would create a wave of peace for the whole island.

    What idea do you have to address the problem?

    The 5050 Skatepark in Staten Island can use the funds for social service initiatives such as rallies, protest planning and all self expression.

    Who would that help?

    The youth’s early development ongoing process through a form of mental toughness 

    What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

    Stapleton and other Staten Island TRIE areas
