    There are many seniors that live alone that feel left out and would like mental health treatment and psycho social support also in a language that they can understand hence the need for a bilingual form of communication.

    Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

    This is important so that seniors live longer, do not suffer with depression due to living alone. They many cases where persons especially seniors have no one to talk to. The residents neighborhood settlement houses will feel privilege to have this service accessible to them to rely

    What idea do you have to address the problem?

    Mental health therapy (individual and Group) for all beneficiaries of the service. There will be integrated activities for both Spanish and English populations to provided a holistic approach to intervention with the major goal to increase persons quality of life.

    Who would that help?

    Senior citizens in the community and residents of the neighborhood settlement houses.
