    What problem would you like to solve?

    Seniors submit applications for senior housing opportunities but don't responses to even know that it was received. It is already hard because it takes years to get off the list and placed but no one lets you know what is going on.

    Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

    Seniors need to transition to senior housing which is more affordable. They need to have some sense of what is going on. Without notification they can't manage what is happening or make plans for their lives.

    What idea do you have to address the problem?

    There needs to be a notification system that keeps seniors in the know of where they are in the process and is not only relegated to being online. Most seniors do not have email addresses or don't know how to use online systems.

    Who would that help?

    It would helps all seniors to manage their housing needs and make plans for themselves.

    What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

    East Flatbush would benefit since it does not have many senior housing opportunities so any way people can know where they are in the system would help.
