    What problem would you like to solve?

    Access to healthy food for at risk community members that need that little more support. Mutual aid fund that can help in emergency situations when there is no where else to turn.

    Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

    Food insecurity has always been a major issue because of access and cost. When it comes to mutual aid, that few hundreds of dollar can be the difference of someone's rent, bill, medicine, etc, being taken care of.

    What idea do you have to address the problem?

    A pot of money that community members not only can access, but have control over in how to help one another. Open for anyone to add to the pot and would have guidelines and rules for how to apply or distribute funds in emergency situations.

    Who would that help?

    Everyone that experiences poverty.

    What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

    Bronx
