What problem would you like to solve?
We are solving the following problems:
- Civil Rights violations of the underserved communities of New York City
- Help underserved communities understand and navigate the justice system
- Provide job training to underserved communities
- Provide mental health support to Underserved communities
Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?
Violated civil rights are injustices--injustices we aim to resolve so that underserved communities can attain their American Dream, while we strengthen our justice system.
What idea do you have to address the problem?
- We aim to educate underserved communities of New York City about their civil rights through educational programs legal assistance
- We aim to assist underserved communities in understanding and how navigate the justice system
- We aim to provide job training to underserved communities so that they can improve their socioeconomic status, which is May help reduce crime and mental health issues
- Provide mental health support to underserved communities through seminars, support groups and counseling
Who would that help?
This would help minorities and ethical minorities such as People of Color Americans (Hispanic Americans, Black Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans, Jewish Americans, Muslim Americans, Indigenous Americans and LGBTQ Americans.
What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?
All boroughs but we will start with Brooklyn
