Why is it relevant for the community? </strong></p><p>City services should be available to all New Yorkers! Because some city workers are unfamiliar with how to support and accommodate disabled people, these services are never received by those who need them.<br></p><p><strong>What idea do you have to address the problem?</strong></p><p>Mandatory training (similar to sexual harassment trainings) for all city workers would ensure that everyone has a baseline understanding of disability inclusion, and how to accommodate people with disabilities.
