What problem would you like to solve?
There has always been an issue with keeping the sidewalks clean from unwanted garbage dumped by passersby in the neighborhood of 36th Avenue, 10TH Street.
Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?
It has become an ongoing issue for residents in the neighborhood as they are forced to clean up after litterers to avoid being fined by the DSNY. It is also a very unpleasant sight for the community and it has even become dangerous for people to step foot on because of broken pieces of glass and other sharp materials that are found in the waste.
What idea do you have to address the problem?
Fund surveillance equipment along the streets to avoid being wrongfully fined and install more trash cans around the neighborhood.
