Without role models Asian youth do not find sports to be a viable pathway. Organized programs in baseball, football and basketball presently are scarce of do not exist in NYC Asian communities. Sports clinics geared to inner-city youth in Asian communities would introduce and encourage mainstream collegiate and professional sports in the community</p><p><strong>What idea do you have to address the problem?</strong></p><p>Weekly sports clinic program to introduce and help youth in Asian communities experience a wide array of collegiate and professional sports.</p><p><strong>Who would that help?</strong></p><p>Under-represented youth in sports, and inner-city youth who do not have access to open fields and organized programs as available to more suburban communities.
