Why is it relevant for the community? </strong></p><p>Middle school aged children have little recreational activities to occupy their time and promote their development.</p><p><strong>What idea do you have to address the problem?</strong></p><p>Increase the staff and skillset of existing afterschool and summer camp programs so they can serve children 11-14 years. Ideally, there should be programs for children 2-18 that can collaborate with their peers and learn useful skills for next stages of life.</p><p><strong>Who would that help?</strong></p><p>Local youths and the neighborhoods they live in.
