HOW TO VOTE:
- If you’re 11 and older and live, work or go to school in one of the 33 neighborhoods hardest hit by COVID-19, you can vote on which project you want for your neighborhood. If you’re not sure whether you qualify, please check this page (External link) for a list of the neighborhoods. You can only vote in one neighborhood, and you can only vote once.
- To vote securely and privately, you need to sign in with an existing account or create an NYC ID account, if you do not already have one. Creating an account is quick and safe, and it protects your vote. Create one here! (External link) (You may use the same ID you use for City services such as Fair Fares, SNAP or afterschool programs, or another ID such as Yahoo, Gmail, Apple, Facebook etc). Once you set up an account, you will belong to an online community of New Yorkers who want their voice heard! And you’ll be able participate in future votes!

Research confirms that youth of color play an essential role in the community as change agents. Youth of color could create lasting racial change, help Black and Latino community members build trust with one another, and bridge the gap in Black and Brown communities between unmet mental health needs and mental health care.
· Goal 1: Bring more youth and high schools to use an app and social media as a media of help . This app is designed to bridge the gap and create an open door for information.
· Goal 2 (optional): To bring the entire Canarsie High School community to awareness about mental and the access to mental health by using our app.
OUTCOMES: Please write down the outcomes you hope to achieve for this project
· Outcome 1: Place Canarsie youth and families right in front of good mental information from our app for Canarsie youth
· Outcome 2: reaching the entire family together to address mental stigma by way of an app.

Reaching the underserved business community in Canarsie, Brooklyn
Scope: Canarsie
Budget: $40,000
Black and Latino small business owners in Canarsie will advocate for and increase awareness and share information about the stigmas around mental health and where to go locally for information. Canarsie is one of the fastest growing small minority business communities in NYC. Our goal is to grow with the growth in our community.
Goal 1: To immerse individuals with a voice to shape public policy, public opinion and eliminate mental health stigma in our community.
Goal 2 (optional): To increase the number of people touch and engage by provide informatin about mental health information.
OUTCOMES: Please write down the outcomes you hope to achieve for this project
Outcome 1:To increase our programming opportunities that will engage with Digital Media Space and Technology while including several of online platforms that can better assist the emotional health for Boys, Men of Color, and their Families.
Outcome 2: We are organizing local leaders, educators, policy makers, local heroes, music artists, parents, business owners and senior pastors of all races and colors to be a part of our strategic goals and mission.

Scope: Canarsie
Budget: $40,000
Coordinating with all the local Canarsie NYC high schools we will coordinate and promote mental health and wellbeing specifically among youth ages 11 to 23 years old and their families. These events will be coordinate with each of the High School Principals in the Canarsie community to provide mental health therapist, healthy eating, healthy cooking, yoga and massage activities Serving the 11236 zip code.
· Goal 1: To creating more mental health access by working registered mental health therapist increasing access to correct information about mental health stigma.
· Goal 2 (optional): Create a community where mental health information is shared continuously.
OUTCOMES: Please write down the outcomes you hope to achieve for this project
· Outcome 1: Create a direct relationship with several mental health therapist for all Canarsie High School students and youth we can reach.
· Outcome 2: This approach will open the door and help remove the stigma by providing access..
