Canarsie youth mental health movement
Research confirms that youth of color play an essential role in the community as change agents. Youth of color could create lasting racial change, help Black and Latino community members build trust with one another, and bridge the gap in Black and Brown communities between unmet mental health needs and mental health care.
· Goal 1: Bring more youth and high schools to use an app and social media as a media of help . This app is designed to bridge the gap and create an open door for information.
· Goal 2 (optional): To bring the entire Canarsie High School community to awareness about mental and the access to mental health by using our app.
OUTCOMES: Please write down the outcomes you hope to achieve for this project
· Outcome 1: Place Canarsie youth and families right in front of good mental information from our app for Canarsie youth
· Outcome 2: reaching the entire family together to address mental stigma by way of an app.

This would be good if it help family to find the services that they need to help their child to learn how to care and function on their own once they get of age. To many children are turn to the street with mental health issues and this is where some crime begin. We need programs that take the parents or caretaker by the hand and lead them to the program until they can understand the services they need and enroll the child and their self in it.
On any giving day you walk down Rockaway Parkway from Sea View to the L training you run into at least 5 to 10 youth with mental health issues. Asking for money to buy food, cursing at the air, or just bothering people as they pass by. Then you see the ones who are adults now doing the same things. Opening the doors to stores and expecting you to give them some money. They all need help. If you can help them when they are young they have a better chance in functioning in society.
Mental health movements really need to get more popular, it's a very positive force to be reckoned with. The people who Buy research chemicals online especially need mental health solutions. That's just how I feel, to be honest.
