The People's Money (2021-2022)

This program is designed to provide the youth with the tools needed to successfully prepare for the job/career of their choice. We will invite employers of major companies and local organizations to speak to them regarding - Dressing for success - Resume building - Interviewing 

GOALS: Please write down one or two goals of the project • Goal 1: To take the mystery out of job searching. With such a frustrating process, we want the youth to better understand what it takes to compete in a competitive marketplace. • Goal 2 (optional): Youth will develop specific knowledge, skills and techniques that would be useful in the obtaining a job • OUTCOMES: Please write down the outcomes you hope to achieve for this project • Outcome 1: The participants will walk away with a stronger appreciation of the job searching process and the tools available to be successful. • How many people do you expect it will serve/benefit? Estimated number is fine as well: 50
