Project Description: The Scholars of Service (SOS) program will allow youth a forum for open discussions about issues that matter to them and provide the support to help them develop solutions to improve their mental health and wellness. They will also raise community awareness about mental health issues using various media and distribute mental health kits to the community.We utilize music and art to address Mental Health issues and heal our community.
Youth participants will earn a stipend and gain essential job skills through SOS. They will also develop teamwork skills and establish a sense of purpose.
This SOS project was made for youth by youth. We include all youth because all lives matter.
