Project Description: For several years Street Soccer USA has offered a free-to-play option for youth in underserved communities to play soccer. We have been able to use soccer to help youth develop on and off the field, make friends, build and strengthen the kind of relationships that are essential to a communities success. We have always offered our best to our participants and in terms of quantity of opportunity we always push to do more. This pandemic has slowed our efforts and threatened to leave free-to-play soccer behind further widening the gap between the underserved and those who can afford to pay. "It's our Money" has given our youth a chance to enhance and preserve something that is important to them and we believe the street league will do that.

This project aims to use soccer to engage youth to come together and build their communities while delivering an alternative to the pay-to-play format and give college ready participants an opportunity to learn leadership skills.

This proposal will give an opportunity for youth to develop leadership skills through managing and creating a multi-neighborhood soccer tournament. In addition these series of free-to-play and open soccer tournaments will serve over a hundred participants ages 6-20 years old.

In order to achieve a better future for our families and friends we must first come together and strengthen our communities. We believe sports is one of the best tools we have to help young people build their communities, because of that the goal of our Street League is to make soccer accessible to all.
