Health insurance should be free at least during the pandemic to prevent the rising of cases. As the members of most affected neighborhoods haven’t been getting the medical care they need which led them to having chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. As a result, they are much more susceptible to COVID. This reinforces that healthcare is a reason because poor people and POC haven’t been able to get healthcare due to the inequalities that healthcare holds against them. Which now, ended up endangering these groups the most during COVID-19.
