I would like to propose funding the Big Apple Leadership Academy for the Arts Inc. and their programs such as The Empire Marching Elite marching band. The performing arts can provide the opportunity for youth to be able to express their emotions, develop their own voice, boost their confidence, learn new skills, sharpen the mind, add to their knowledge, and express themselves among other things. Financially funding this organization can help their programs make a positive impact in the lives of youth in the community.
