These workshops will help students explore career opportunities, navigate the college admissions process, and create post-secondary plans. UAU will also coordinate trips, mentoring opportunities, and case management sessions.</p><p><strong>Briefly summarize what your organization will do to implement this project</strong></p><p>UAU has more than twenty years of successful experience providing workforce development services to young people in New York City. Workforce development is more than connecting young people to employers – we believe it includes helping young people learn about themselves, explore new opportunities, and develop foundational interpersonal skills.</p><p><strong>What motivated your organization to apply for this project?</strong></p><p>Many young people do not receive the one-on-one support needed to successfully transition from high school to post-secondary life. When students are provided with access to information, guidance, and a strong support system they can strategically plan their future and pursue their dreams.</p><p><strong>How do you think this project will make a difference in the community?</strong></p><p>UAU is looking forward to building meaningful relationships with young people in our community and helping them reach their full potential.
