- To be able to reach a wider population and to expand our hours and be open year round to better serve and meet the needs of the ever growing, ever changing diverse community through our high quality affordable programs
- Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
- Having sufficient funds will enable us to continue offering the following programs throughout the year without being constrained by heating and other concerns. . This will allow us to have a greater and more consistent impact on the members of the community.: Educational: Free ESL, Piano, Guitar , Family Painting and School Field Trips Cultural : :including but not limited to the following:: Celebrations of Black History Month, Lunar New Year, Irish Culture, Asian Pacific Heritage month, Celebrations of other cultures including Native American and European , Summer Concerts , Free Family Movies, the annual September 11th Concert . our annual Veterans Day Concert and the Mexican/American Holiday Celebration And to expand our services' to include: Mental Health: An Alzheimer's Day Care and a Therapeutic Writing Workshop. All of these programs will assist in bridging the gap across Cultural, Economic Language or any other divide
