- Describe the challenge you want to address:
- Many children tend to run the streets once they get bored, getting themselves into illegal activities. Kids as young as 8 years old know about gangs. Kids and teens should have a way to keep themselves occupied and have fun while they're young, they shouldn't be running the streets, growing up too fast, or even dying young due to the life they choose. Kids should stay kids and stay off the dangerous street. If their parents can't always watch them due to work etc, a little community center like this would be helpful.
- Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
- There should be a center where kids can go if they ever get bored. There could be a bunch of activities, physical and academic. It could be open for basically the whole day, so kids can keep themselves occupied while having fun without stressing their parents or having them worried. All parents have to do is sign their kids up, then their kid can go there whenever.
