- On September 25, 2002 right here in New York City at the United Nations, jazz pianist, vocalist and composer Rick DellaRatta brought together is Riley, Palestinian, and American jazz musicians as detailed here - https://jazzforpeace.org/un/ - in what is now considered by many to be \"the most significant cultural event of our time!\"\nFrom there came a benefit concert series where he repeated what he did at the United Nations all over New York City helping over 200 of the most outstanding causes all across the five boroughs with his \"Jazz for Peace Benefit Concert Series\" as detailed here: https://jazzforpeace.org/nycmayor.html then all across the United States as detailed here: https://jazzforpeace.org/obamaletter.pdf then all across the world as detailed here: \nReceived: 6/04/2013 (as posted on “Great Nonprofits” Website): \"I first experienced this amazing organization, their music, and their mission when they came to Rwanda in 2009 to perform and aid UNICEF to welcome my country back with the rest of the world after the devastation caused by genocide. Their two concerts were the hi-lite of our country’s Amahoro Peace Week celebration. The publicity and awareness they created was worldwide and since then our country has thrived far beyond even our own lofty dreams and expectations from the Empowerment Tree that they have grown as part of their advocacy for each cause that they represent. It is my hope to someday be able to tell other outstanding causes about this important opportunity and significant Helpful Step Forward for their sustainable future.” ~ Ella Magera – Kigali, Rwanda\n\nSee video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hV8tM36x4AY&t=32s and also here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oplUrCUcNq8&t \n\nNow we want every single day in New York City to be a day where JAZZforPEACE repeats what we did at the United Nations in order to raise funds publicity and awareness for one of the outstanding causes that with such help can make our city our community our children our health our environment and our world a better place for all!\n\nAdditional Info:\nHow does an ordinary person embark on a journey so profound that he is now being compared to icons such the great Martin Luther King as detailed here ~ https://lnkd.in/eEQgKWVW Received Oct. 18, 2023: “Very powerful words from Dr. King and there is definitely a correlation to be made with Jazz For Peace...No doubt” ~ Eric Cohen, EC Music Agency - Liverpool.\nAt the link below you will find that Rick DellaRatta is not only an extremely relevant guest in these current times, but also has a truly extraordinary, empowering and entertaining story that is a big part of his popularity.\nThis world-renowned jazz artist, philanthropist and entrepreneur rose from the ashes of 9/11 and with nothing but a poem founded what is now considered by many to be \"the most significant cultural event of our time!\" with complete details of this amazing story and how timely it is at this very moment both here - https://jazzforpeace.org/eventinfo.pdf - and below:\nJazz for Peace™ Founder Rick DellaRatta listed as one of the worlds “Most Viewed Global Entrepreneurs”: https://mailchi.mp/veblendirectors.com/entrepreneurial-highlights-you-shouldnt-miss-this-week-27-sep?e=9790d5dddf
