- Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
- Our group is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to youth and families facing multifaceted challenges resulting from socioeconomic hardship. Our mission is to empower these resilient individuals with the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to overcome obstacles and cultivate their potential. We are proposing a partnership with a community based/non-profit organization whose work demonstrates a commitment to dismantling barriers, unlocking potential, and nurturing the resilience of youth in Harlem. We believe that, with the right support and opportunities, every young person can chart a course toward a future filled with success, fulfillment, and positive community impact. Through our partnership, we seek to provide professional development to staff, expand volunteerism among community members, and ensure programming is engaging and accessible to the community. We aim to enhance the impact of programs that target the following areas: 1. Holistic Education Support: ○ Tutoring and academic assistance for core subjects. ○ Access to educational resources and technology. ○ Workshops on study skills, time management, and goal setting College tours 2.
