What idea do you have to address the problem?
Curbing the Dog Poop in PLG. Description: Dog poop on the sidewalks around PLG is becoming a nuisance. This proposal would be to install several dog waste stations with bags and receptacles around the neighborhood, as well as signage to remind residents that failure to pick up dog feces is subject to a $250 fine. Sufficient waste receptacles throughout the neighborhood is a problem, but unlike city garbage cans, dog waste stations are affordable and installing 1-2 dozen throughout the neighborhood could make a huge difference, especially on the residential streets farther from the park. This proposal would serve all residents of the neighborhood -- both dog owners and general population alike.
Who would that help?
