Even last school year 21-22, we didn't had many afterschool programs.</p><p><strong>Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community? </strong></p><p>Afterschool programs can&nbsp;<strong>support social, emotional, cognitive, and academic development, reduce risky behaviors, promote physical health, and provide a safe and supportive environment students.</strong></p><p><strong>What idea do you have to address the problem?</strong></p><p>We need more staff and funding for after school programs at flushing campus. (Flushing high school, QHSLS, and Veritas Academy).</p><p><strong>Who would that help?</strong></p><p>Community of over 3,000 students of Flushing high school, Veritas Academy, QHSLS, and dozens of parents.</p><p><strong>What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?</strong></p><p>Queens borough.</p>"},"title":{"en":"Funding for afterschool programs at Flushing Campus"}}
