Help clean my neighborhood!
What problem would you like to solve?
Keeping the sidewalks clean from unwanted garbage dumped by passersby in the neighborhood of 36th Avenue, 10TH ST has always been an issue.
Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?
It has become an ongoing issue for residents in the neighborhood since they are forced to clean up after litterers to avoid being fined by the DSNY. It has also become a very unpleasant sight for the community. It even becomes dangerous for people to step foot on because of broken glass that is often found scattered in the waste.
What idea do you have to address the problem?
Fund surveillance equipment along the streets to avoid being wrongfully fined and install more trash cans around the neighborhood.
Who would that help?
The residents of the community.
What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?
Queens
