What problem would you like to solve?
Anything to do with Job Services, Arts and Culture, Training and Workers Rights, Health and Well Being, Public Safety and Senior Services. It might be a bit too good to be true to create such a program to solve all of these recurring and ongoing problems, but I do want to start a change for the better of our city's future, our youth, our seniors and hopefully our commitments can engage other communities outside of of Queens.
Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?
As a person who is familiar to most, if not all these problems, I will mention a few reasons why it is very important. For youths and some undocumented and inexperienced, ambitious workers, many of them have limited options to secure their future, such as students who cannot afford to go to college, or when dropouts and eager workers neither have good and or limited training to enhance their skills or prep for a long term commitment to those jobs due to low pay rates, lesser experience, etc; this while also thinking that it is important to keep check on their physical and mental well being too, since literally everyone needs their benefits to aid them in hard times (a solution of a program that can support the need of mental health can help many people in reducing crime rates, death and even more promising futures, mental health is underrated). This can increase the opportunity for U.S. Citizens and everyone else alike!
Seniors are needed to guide the paths of the youth to give them experience in real world situations and benefit from crime to increase, while also improve their lifestyle in aiding their health and live happier.
Crime and brutality creates many problems out the streets and many other places, so we must keep our beloved New Yorkers in check with having events to stop the hate and on with creating creative activities.
Arts and Culture, along with Parks and Recreation would blend well to inspire every person, young and old, as a subject I'm fondly excited for since it isn't talked or expended enough.
What idea do you have to address the problem?
Id love to suggest either a huge program, if not many programs that would help solve all those issues mentioned, grants and connections to schools for those who want to go to college, mental health programs to aid those going through life's hardest obstacles, make job and internship programs to open opportunities to live and create a new and better society with open doors to everyone, art and sporting programs to those who want to pursue a career or to keep off the streets, while also mentioning a dedicated program to help disabled people, people with autism and seniors all across the city.
Who would that help?
Everyone living in New York City
What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?
Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx and Staten Island
