Project Description: 

Zoom Homework Help me will be implemented in two schools struggling with the pressures of the pandemic in New York City. The program will hire twenty high-achieving high schoolers from two schools to zoom tutor struggling middle and elementary school students from low-income, first-generation, and non-english speaking dominant households after school.

Zoom Homework Help Me is a two-fer: younger youth get additional support and customized assistance they need and deserve from near-peer role models and older youth can make money, strengthen their skills, and demonstrate extracurricular work otherwise lost to COVID to colleges.

This is a GREAT opportunity to demonstrate a scalable model to address COVID learning loss for some of our city's most vulnerable populations through unleashing and demonstrating the power of student tutors.
