Project Description: Future Focus Workshops Series will provide students across the five boroughs an opportunity to prepare for real world skills through learning essential information such as college preparedness, work readiness skills, financial literacy and critical interpersonal skills. Workshop participants will receive a stipend at the end of the program, as well as showcase their work through the completion of a portfolio and presentation that can be carried forward as they begin their journey to college and career exploration success.

Future Focus Workshop Series will reinforce the importance of self-advocacy and create a pathway that builds students’ capacity to navigate external influences while working towards their own vision. This series will empower students to become the leader in the decision-making process.

Future Focus Workshop Series will be a great introduction to the amazing services Commonpoint Queens has to offer. This series is your jump start in developing your roadmap to a successful college and career journey.

Commonpoint Queens is prepared to provide participants with endless opportunities within our organization. This program will not end here - you will have the opportunity to seek follow up services for College Access, Career Exploration and internship opportunities beyond this program! There is no better way to hear this than from our participants in the video we shared.
