- As a formerly incarcerated individual it can be difficult to get a job, preventing consistently healthy habits from developing. Many other residents don't have positive views on incarcerated individuals, rejecting the notion of an affirming community.
- Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
- We are aiming to create a rehabilitation program for incarcerated individuals that encourages socialization and events that involve acquaintances. Often times, the people around those incarcerated are negatively affected and they should have access to real resources and programs.
