- Describe the challenge you want to address:
- The challenges I want to address is the isolation many of us feel. I also want to address meeting the needs of people within a community.
- Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
- My idea is to train people in restorative justice so that they can build community in spaces that don't already have it. Restorative justice is a set of beliefs and tools that allow for people to build trust and get to know one another. It also helps people within the community work through conflict in a way that allows for repair and understanding. Restorative Justice also works to share power in spaces so that everyone has a voice and an agency to make a change.
