What problem would you like to solve?
I would schools to incorporate learning about taxes, young adult rights and investing
Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?
The more people are educated on finances the more wise and mature they are with their actions. Additionally, knowing your own rights can help within family at struggles and helps with advocacy.
What idea do you have to address the problem?
I think that instead or art credits or 4 years of gym we should have finance classes but that they wouldn’t be just viewed as an unnecessary elective class but actually emphasized on during high school years.
Who would that help?
Teenagers, young adults who are moving into their post secondary planning and adulthood
What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?
Manhattan
