Your Money, Your Community, Your Voice.
Discussing and Embracing Diversity
What problem would you like to solve?
Would like there be more focus on understanding and appreciating the different minorities communities and ensuring that their mental health and differences are addressed. I believe it is important to address misunderstanding that can lead to crimes by building a more understanding community as a whole.
Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?
It is relevant as a diverse body of people we often misunderstand or overlook and the discriminations other communities face. You'd think as a diverse city, we wouldn't be facing crimes etc. against minorities.
What idea do you have to address the problem?
Bringing awareness through workshops and events where people can talk about their differences so people can have a better understanding.
Who would that help?
NYC as a whole
What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?
Queens
